Leamogetswe takes care of 50 children but receives a subsidy for only 41 of the children from the government. This funding cover only the residential care (housing) excluding (schooling, running cost, health care, life skills, outreach) which are vital towards the development of a needy child to overcome the vacuum of poverty and abuse. The home continues to seek funding for the other services. This services need an amount of
R3 870 000 annually @ R175 per child per day. And this is not covered by the government subsidy which only covers 38 percent of the amount.
